I recently was looking at a "gig poster" project I did as an assignment back when I was in college. I was thinking about how much my Adobe illustrator skills had improved. I decided I wanted to continue to work on it with some tools I use today that were not available to me at that time. I re-worked my Jimi poster using Procreate and Apple Pencil on an IPad pro.
I used this iconic photograph of Jimi Hendrix as reference for this project. I have not been able to find the original photographer of this work. If anyone knows please let me know so I can give them credit.
